Joanne Vézina is an experienced corporate director, recognized for her exceptional results-driven approach and ability to navigate complex situations. Her extensive knowledge in governance, risk management, human resources and customer service has led her to serve on various boards of directors, including her current role as Chairman of the Board at Humania Assurance. Joanne has also held senior management positions in several financial services companies. Her strategic insights have played a pivotal role in enhancing customer and partner retention and satisfaction and driving the overall growth of these organizations.
Michel Tardif, FSA., FCIA, ASC

Michel Tardif is a Fellow Actuary with over 40 years of experience in the life and health insurance industry. He has held various management positions, from serving as the Chief Actuary of La Mutualité in Québec to overseeing operations as the General Manager of a TOWER Corporation subsidiary in New Zealand. After returning to Québec in 1993, Michel managed various life insurance companies before transitioning to work as an independent consulting actuary in 2007. He is currently enjoying retirement and is actively involved as a member of the board of directors at Humania Assurance. In this role, he serves as the Vice-Chairman and also leads the Governance and Ethics Committee. Michel also has a university certification in corporate governance from Université Laval.
Muriel McGrath, ICD.D

Muriel holds several corporate director roles and committee roles for very large public organizations as well as smaller private entities in the financial services, in technology and in the infrastructure, power and energy management consulting industries. As a certified board member (ICD.D), Muriel’s interventions bring value as they stem from her past as a seasoned CEO and technology thought leader. Muriel was the IBM Canadian market leader for Advanced Analytics and AI, she was also a Strategy and Transformation partner at IBM & KPMG. From multinational global to SME international nimble corporations, whether in board roles or executive general management, she has guided strategic initiatives in M&A, in technology innovation, technology due diligence and security, big data and AI and growth. Muriel is also a certified digital transformation auditor.
Louise Pellerin-Lacasse, FCIA, FSA, CERA
Corporate Director
Louise Pellerin-Lacasse is a highly experienced actuary, specializing in risk management and product development. She has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. Having previously served as the Chief Risk Officer at Standard Life Canada, she has held a number of senior positions, including Vice-President of Product Development and Management. After retiring in 2015, Louise took on a new role as a corporate director. She now sits on the boards of directors of Humania Assurance and LS Mutual Management, where she works with the Audit and Risk Management Committee. She is also a member of the Integrated Risk Management Committee of the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ.

Pascale Audette is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience specializing in the growth and operation of technology companies, particularly in the SaaS and B2B2C sectors. As the former CEO of Carebook Technologies, she managed various multidisciplinary teams, orchestrated successful mergers and acquisitions and skillfully guided the company through its transition to becoming a publicly traded entity. Pascale has also held leadership roles at Behaviour Interactive, Hyper Hippo Entertainment and The Walt Disney Company, where she played a key role in driving international growth and enhancing overall profitability. Known for her exceptional leadership skills, she currently sits on several boards of directors and plays an active role in mentoring budding technology companies.

Luc Filiatreault is a dynamic serial entrepreneur with a remarkable track record. He has founded and led eight thriving companies, primarily in the software technology industry. Four of his companies have been listed on the TSX. Since September 2019, he has been CEO of Mediagrif, a listed technology company specializing in SaaS solutions. Previously, he headed Ayuda Media Systems, where he successfully doubled the number of employees and customers in less than 18 months. Luc has also held management positions at OpenText, Neuralitic Systems, Nstein Technology and PG Mensys, just to name a few. Recognized for his exceptional skills in developing growth strategies and securing financing, he serves on multiple boards of directors and actively supports charitable organizations like United Way and Make-a-Wish Québec.

Chantal Blouin is a seasoned manager with a strategic mindset and a remarkable talent for simplifying complex situations. Chantal has over 25 years of experience from her time at Cascades Inc. where she excelled in various management positions in finance, internal audit and process improvement. She successfully guided various multidisciplinary teams through major projects. Since 2020, she has been helping managers boost their teams’ performance and implement ESG standards into their operations. Chantal is also certified director and plays an active role on multiple boards of directors, sharing her valuable expertise in auditing, governance and risk management.

Paul Buron is a director and senior executive with extensive experience in financial management, risk management and corporate governance. He has been a member of the Ordre des Comptables Professionnels du Québec for over 30 years. Having held senior positions in various organizations, such as Investissement Québec, the Business Development Bank of Canada and TVA Group, he is recognized for his strategic vision and ability to navigate complex environments. He currently sits on several boards of directors, including adMare BioInnovations and Oxfam Québec. His expertise in finance and risk management continues to be instrumental in enhancing organizational performance.

Martin Leroux is a highly skilled actuary with more than 30 years of experience in asset management and strategic consulting for institutional clients. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Université de Montréal and went on to have a remarkable career with Mercer, Fidelity Investments and PSP Investments. During his time at these companies, he held key positions in portfolio management, business development and corporate strategy. Since 2017, Martin has been an independent strategic consultant, working with EY Parthenon on high-profile jobs in the insurance and large pension fund sectors.
