It is with great regret that we announce the departure, at the end of the year, of Mr. Richard Gagnon as President of Humania Assurance.
Indeed, a few months ago, Mr. Gagnon has let us know that near sixty years old, and after thirteen years at the helm of the company, he was planning to retire to begin a less active phase of his career.
Mr. Gagnon has done a remarkable job during his mandate. Under his leadership, La Survivance, that became Humania Assurance, managed to have an enviable position of modern insurer, specialized in living benefits. He has pushed the company to be audacious and innovative, his three last products being accessible via Web only, in partnership with a network of solid financial advisors offering Humania products. The launch of the Aurrea Signature banner and the new HuGO platform, just a few days ago, confirms once again the innovative character of Humania. During his mandate, the company has known a strong growth of its business volume, while more than a third of its sales is now from outside Quebec. When presenting those great results, those who know him well already know he will say that he was surrounded by a management team and employees that are exceptional.
In the name of the company, we sincerely thank him for his great contribution in the development of our company and wish him to fully take advantage of the coming years.
