Humania Assurance wins two technological prizes for HuGO

HuGO 2 prix

An award in digital transformation

Humania Assurance was honoured with a Digital Transformation Award for its HuGO platform at the Digital Transformation Conference and Awards Ceremony, held on June 14 in Toronto. The Digital Transformation Awards Ceremony was created by IT World Canada (ITWC), Canada’s leading provider of IT content. The event showcases Canadian businesses that revolutionize their market with their technological initiatives.

The jury voted for HuGO, a web platform that uses predictive analytics to issue personalized term life insurance instantaneously based on the risk profile of customers in perfect health or at moderate risk. This breakthrough, launched by Humania and its IT subsidiary Survitech, reinvents the way insurance is sold by allowing advisors to offer term life insurance at competitive rates in 15 to 45 minutes.

HuGO’s powerful technology also earned it provincial recognition. On May 25, Humania Assurance was on hand at the Octas Gala (which recognizes digital and IT excellence in Quebec), where it earned the top prize in the SME category for its HuGO platform.

These two IT awards, on provincial and national levels, show how Humania is in a class of its own when it comes to innovation and that its HuGO platform is being hailed as the technology of the future in personal insurance.
