On February 6 in Montreal, Stéphane Rochon, President and CEO of Humania Assurance, was nominated as a finalist at the Finance et Investissement newspaper’s gala celebrating the Top 25 in Quebec’s financial industry, in the “Insurer” category.
Finance et Investissement‘s Top 25 de l’industrie financière honours last year’s 25 most outstanding executives and senior leaders who live and work in Quebec. Published annually, the Top 25 reviews the year in finance and showcases the success stories of key industry players.
“I am very proud of this nomination. Above all, I share this honour with all of our employees and our network; they were able to evolve and adapt to new market conditions while using their experience to drive the company’s success,” said Stéphane Rochon. “I am also very proud of my nomination as a finalist, since it reflects the hard work we put into marketing our HuGO technology platform, making it a major Canada-wide success story. We are now known for having turned innovation into progress. Making insurance easier and more accessible for everyone everywhere is a core goal for us at Humania Assurance,” he added.
The year 2017 was something of a highlight reel for the company. After winning the SME award at the 2017 Octas Gala in Montreal and the Digital Transformation Award for its HuGO platform at the June 14 Digital Transformation Conference and Awards Ceremony in Toronto, Humania Assurance completed its hat trick with the SME innovation award at the 27th Gala des Prix Innovation de l’ADRIQ, held in Montreal on November 30, 2017.
