We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of Humania Assurance has chosen Mr. Stéphane Rochon to assume the responsibilities of President and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Mr. Rochon has an impressive track record as he has held several important positions in the financial sector. The responsibilities he has assumed have enabled him to gain extensive experience in the development of insurance products and an in-depth knowledge of networks and strategies for the distribution of financial products. Humania’s Sales and Marketing Vice‑President for more than twelve years, he was one of the key players in the success of the company.
Mr. Rochon also has a solid background. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from McGill University, and recently completed an MBA in Electronic Commerce from Université Laval. He is also a graduate of the College of Corporate Directors of the same university. Over the past year, he has served as Vice-President, Product Innovation and Distribution Development for Munich Re, a major reinsurer.
Mr. Rochon will take office on December 5th. Current President, Mr. Richard Gagnon, will facilitate the transition to the end of this year.
